One think you want to keep in mind though, some cellphones create 
interference to the radio in your car. My current cellphone, a portable 
Nokia 2160 TDMA digital phone generates some serious interference to the 
the radio when it receives a call. I had an AT&T analogue cellphone before 
this one but it seemed to be fine and they both operate on the exact same 
frequency i.e. the 800mhz range. It makes you wonder what it does to the 
rest of the electronics in the car like the motronic and the ABS system.  

You may want to try the phone in the car with the engine running and the 
radio on and see if you notice any interference.
