Re: Ur-Q Hot Start Problem

Paul, (PACDEV)

The real problem with hot start in the early Q's is vapor
lock in the fuel injection lines. I have to crank for 20 seconds
to clear it out. Opening the hood after a hot run will get rid
of it. the later cars have an improved blower motor, injector
cooling set up. Get one of a junkyard car and instal it an
the problem should go away. if you have more than 20 seconds
of trouble, your stock system prolly isn't working. Check it out
with a meter and some jumpers. Good luck!
