During the ensuing months, he has been through the mill with the dealer,
and among other things was told the alignment is within spec and there is
nothing more to be done.
To the point: In asking around informally, he has heard that the pulling
problem is not entirely uncommon and asked me to check with the experts in
such matters - my fellow listers. Does anybody know of such a problem with
the '93 - '95 90 Quattro sedans? Much appreciation in advance. >>
Pulling is a very common problem with the 90s of this generation, the front
drive cars all the more so. There is a long litany of technical bulletins
and service procedures. If he has not received satisfaction from the dealer,
he should go up a level to the regional Audi contact. The dealer will (must)
provide the name.
A quick question: Has the dealer ever been able to make the problem go away,
even temporarily? Quite often a good alignment works, but then things
gradually deteriorate.
