I'm making this official!

In spite of the fact that I have not taken possession of the car yet and
considering there are a couple things that could jeopardize the deal, I
am announcing my purchase of an '85 UrQ. I have been through an
incredible amount finding the right car over the past six months and now
it appears to be nearly over. The money is in transit as we speak.
 My search has gone to Canada, the east coast, here on the west coast
and finally ended up in Colorado. Thank the Audi gods that I didn't end
up with a red one here in the Bay Area because if I had I never would
have known about the '85 (Thanks for the tip Alex!). The seller wanted
$7000 for the car and guess what - he got it!
 Now the toughest part will be waiting until I can go out to Boulder to
actually take possession of the car. It won't be until at least mid
February - at least I now have a legitimate reason to post to this
group.
