That would depend oh how you define "stiffer shocks."  Most replacement
shock will be gas pressurized and replacing the stock hydraulic shocks
with a gas pressurized shock (e.g. Boge Turbo Gas) can effectively raise
the car as much as an inch.  BTDT.
