Re: Wheels etc for 5k?
Hey Stephen,
I'm running the H&R's with Koni Sport inserts and the ride
really hasn't diminished too much IMO. The H&R's lowered the car
1 1/4". The car not only looks much better but corners much flatter
due to the added stiffness. The Konis are set on medium stiffness.
Haven't tried full stiff as this requires one to remove them from the
car. BEWARE! Once you've lowered the car, I found it tough to get
anything 7" wide to fit under the rear quarters. I've even had the
rear quarters professionally rolled or bowed out about 1/2". Another
key is wheel offset with the rear panels. Stock offset is 45mm. Any
aftermarket rim with a 35mm. offset will probably rub the rears on a
lowered car. BTDT. I'm running stock BBS 200Q rims with a 45mm
offset for the time being. Good luck!
