Re: Alignment spec conversion

My Bentley has alignment specs in angles - degree/minute
My printout from the alignment machine seems to be in linear measure - x/32
inches? The shop doesn't know the conversion- seems like I need to know a
second leg on a triangle.

Is there a standard ?

I'd like to know myself. It was my working assumption that toe was measured at
the wheel rim where the bar guages are attached. Thus, 1/8 inch of toe (each
side) on a 14 inch wheel would be an angle with a sine of (1/8)/(14/2) or 1.02
degrees each side (~61 minutes).

Anyone able to speak authoritatively?
