There was a Technical Bulletin from Audi on this subject about a year,
year-and-a-half ago.  It is too lengthy to quote on the list, and the
procedure also depends on which kind of compressor you have. You should be
able to order or obtain this from a good Audi dealer (no oxymoron jokes,
pease).

Ask for Technical Bulletin number 95-03, Group 87, 15 September 1995.
