Hi Harlan,

Didn't see anyone post anything more about your CC prob, so I thought I'd 
tell you about my experience... 86 5OOOS five-spd, CC began working 
intermitently, and then stopped altogether.  Thought it was an 
electronics prob, but we figured out that the vaccum switch located on 
the brake pedal that disengages CC upon braking was loose and therefore 
misadjusted.  After that was set and tighted, CC was back.  Still don't 
use it much tho, as it isn't very smooth in maintaining speed (surges 
constantly; minor, but too annoying to leave it on).
