Help me join the Phil Payne Bulb-a-Month Club!

Ok, so I've replaced the dangerously-poor DOT headlights in my Coupe with
the versions from the home market. I disassembled an old 9004 bulb,
soldered in wires, and potted it with epoxy to make an adaptor that
plugs into the stock headlight socket. This feeds two Siemens relays
which are powered right from the alternator. It's all hooked up with
12ga wires in the proper colors (thanks Dan, seven cents a foot at Home
Depot) and neatly tie-wrapped. I am basking in the pure white light of
proper voltage and decent reflectors.

But there's one problem. I had to go to six parts stores to find a
pair of H4 sockets, and they're cheap Taiwanese things with 16ga leads.
I went to a lot of trouble to have the new harness be 12ga all the way;
I even used mil-spec crimp terminals (AMP PIDG, nylon insulation, uses
a *very* nice ratcheting crimp tool). These 10A sockets are an insult
to my sense of engineering. All that trouble just to lead into cheap
wiring for the last 10cm.

Maybe I won't be installing 170W highs but I want to know that I could.
So where can I find a *quality* H4 socket? Is the OEM European socket
any good, and if so, what's the part number? Or, what else should I use?
