There is a new engine. it is a 1.8 liter 20valve turbo charged 4 cylinder.
It will be available in stick in the spring I believe. It comes with 150 hp
but supposedly feels faster than the 2.8 liter. People say it can be
tweeked to 250 bhp. I don't know. I have been in the car but haven't drove
it. I want one. All I need is the stick and the quattro and the 16 in. rims.
