Tranny ratios, was: downshifting

FWIW, Bentley lists for the 5cyl 5 spd manual (06/87 AKT):
Final drive	41:09=4.556
1st gear		39:11=3.545
2nd gear		40:19=2.105
3rd gear		39:30=1.300
4th gear		32:36=0.889
5th gear		29:40=0.725

The deltas are (5th to 1st): .164, .411, .805, 1.44
