Are you replying to me? If you reread my post, I am sure you will
understand the humor I intended to bring into the discussion of
speed and signalling. I am all for turn signals. I was just pointing
out a common behavior that I have witnessed which is to respond to
signals by flooring the pedal and passing rather than letting the
signaller over.

lead-foot-don't-cut-in-front-of-me behavior. Don't get me wrong. I
appreciate the proper use of the turn signal. It's just that this is just
as annoying to me.
