Fuel Injection Transplant
It got warm enough in Minnesota today to turn some wrenches - I
almost wish it haden't. Just got done doing a transplant from the top
of the air cleaner on up. Tried to strat the car - no go! I have fuel
pressure up to the differential pressure regulator, but nothing seems
to come out of the top of the fuel distributer when I loosen an
injector line. Do these systems lose their prime? How long would be a
reasonable time to crank on the engine before I give it up as a bad
transplant and try to return to my original parts? Any other ideas?
Help!
