Re: QCUSA: It is useful?

Someone asks,

>>How many of you are QCUSA members and what do you think of the organization?

What do you expect out of it? If you are interested in participating in driving schools
and track events, it's probably worth joining. The colorado region of the club just put
on a great 3 day event at the ice driving school in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and
I am sure all the participants had a great time. Was it expensive? yes. Was it
fun? yes. Will I be there again next year? yes.

If you don't participate in track events, it depends on the particular region you are
located in. Some regions are starting to have social gatherings to meet up with
other quattro owners. Some have had private new car introductions.

A membership also gets you 4 copies of the quaterly newletter. Is it worth $40?
Probably not.

Wanna do over priced and under instructed track events join up......

Obviously Mr. Fletcher is not a member of QCUSA, otherwise he would be
aware of the Colorado regions upcoming drivers school this May. It will cost
$100 for 2 days worth of fun at the 3.1 mile road coarse at the old stapleton
airport. I wouldn't call this event overpriced....

If you want GOOD info, stay here. For the most part you'll get more good
info here in a week than in a year in the QClub.... And were free!

The quattro list is a great source of information, but remember it's probably
worth what you are paying for it. Do stick around, you will see money
saving tips and develop friendships with Audi owners who share the same
interests as you. And with enough time, you will be able to spot the facts
through the smoke...
