 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

 Define useful.......

Wanna do over priced and under instructed track events join up......

If you want GOOD info, stay here. For the most part you'll get more good
info here in a week than in a year in the QClub.... And were free!

Hmmmm.... I'm willing to temper this some.... QCUSA tends to be on the
conservative side, and doesn't assume you know ANYTHING about driving
quattros, not such a bad thing..... I've been to some of the more "under"
priced track events, and found them to be borderline dangerous, more like
racing without the cage.... And, in fact, though share some of the same
opinions as Eric of the instruction, I find it more the qualifications of
"instructor" status, than the instruction itself... The basics of lane toss,
turning, braking and chassis dynamics is solid.... The open track time needs
some addressing, an instructor problem.... Been to many different
"sponsored" events, some more some less expensive, and have not found any of
the others to really be any better....

QCUSA is worth joining, esp if you don't or have never run a track event
before.... Those of us with racing experience find some of the faults in
instruction, the line, the methods, but that really is at a different
level..... I'm not sure that the individual charters aren't addressing the $
problems, but frankly, the savings of 75USD over another "event" shouldn't be
the deterrent from LEARNing.... This is not Advanced Driving School
either.... The nicest thing about the events is that the level of novice
drivers is hardly intimidating as some of the more hardcore schools....
Having been to just about All the common marque track events, qcusa's fall
in the middle, but far from the bottom....

Not waving any particular flag, just seen many.... The bottom line, and I
know Eric agrees, is LEARN to drive your car... Very few really know the
good and bad characteristics of audis except from the keyboard and limited
street stuff.... Get to a track, and help yourself become better and more
educated in YOUR car.... The politics of the forum irrelevent...
