Snow Racing a lowered 100

I ran into a 100CSQ pearlescent white and lowered with a bad (not good)
sounding exhaust on Saturday. It was snowing and while pulling away from
the light only realized then that he was trying to race me. While I love
Audis and this one looked (if not sounded) sweet, the 2.8l 100 is no
stoplight racer by any means. I was in my Jetta VR6 and since the snow was
not really laying I really didn't have a problem keeping him just to my
right rear.
I am not stating my superiority in anyway, nor am I condoning racing in
the snow (as I was simply in a hurry). My point here is that Audi needs
some high performance offerings like an S or RS car. Even in stickshift
stock form, my sister's 90CS could never keep up with the acceleration of
the Jetta VR6. Still I am always amazed at the handling her front wheel
drive Audi can exhibit. It rivals my lower and more performance minded
Corrado and would leave my Jetta behind on a severely windy course.
	Just my 2 cents.
