RE: CIBIE lights/ fitting new lights to '90 Coupe
Hi all,
I had a question about this myself today... first, to answer Mark's question -
Demon Tweeks carries a four headlamp conversion for the '92 and up 80 series featuring Cibie lights, H1 and H3s. They are Around $480 US with current exchange rates. Demon Tweeks ships to the US.
I have a photo they faxed to me and it looks very nice on the car, my question.... These lights are made for the new style front with the grille attached to the hood. Would it be possible to fit these to the older style front? It looks possible, the outside and bottom edges look identical, the top edge looks ok to the grille, the only place it looks like something may need to be done would be the inside edge. Looks like some kind of spacer plate may be needed between the new lights and the old grille, as the new style grille looks wider...
Any info on this would be very much appreciated... I would love to see these on my Coupe...

Subject: CIBIE lights
Anybody know of a web site, or some contact for CIBIE lights? I am
trying to find a light supplier for my '91 CQ Pro Rally car that I am
building.
TIA!
