The 5 buck fix:
What you do is score deeply with a single edge razorblade/Xacto knife. Then
use a small bladed screwdriver to pry apart. Serious glue here! It wont come
apart perfectly, but it don't matter. I even run mine with the cover off.
Inside you find:
a: A leaf switch operated by a cam - this controls when the extra fuel is
added by ECU when you go wide open throttle.
b. A regular mini microswitch - three blade, of which common and NO
(normally open) are used. This is both glued and soldered in place. Often
its only a bad solder joint, but if the switch is going south, unsolder, pry
out and replace.. I used a Cherry (TM) microswitch - avail from any
electronics store. Coupla hour job. Glue it back together when done...

I need to redo all my bushings, and I'm far overdue for lubing the joint -
supposed to be done every 12K miles, white lithium... Try lubing it first...

On mine, hit 1.5 and you done hit a wall!!! The engine just stoppeth. (Prior
to bypass/then chip mods, of course).
