lost my motor "guard"
You must excuse me for my minimum experience in english
vocabulary when it comes to automobile parts. I'll do
my best...
It's continuing to snow like hell here in Oslo, Norway.
I had a terrific afternoon the other night when I drove up
a hill and "rallied" a bit. I discovered the next morning that
the "plate" which used to be placed under my motor had
disappeared. How bad is that? Should I buy one immediately?
When I bought my 88 Audi 80 Quattro, I was close to buy a
91 Audi Quattro, but it had to many flaws. I concluded with
the fact that it hadden't gone 95000, but instead 195000.
One of the flaws was of course that the bottom plate was
missing, so I guess it's "common" among Quattros which has
been driven quite hard and gone more than 130.000 km.
New question, are the McPherson shocks for the Audi difficult
to get hold of? It sure takes a while here in Norway.
