Quattro Prices
Saw the threads on quattro prices around the country, while I agree on most
points, I have to throw my .02 cents regarding resale. Agreed and agonized
by all Audi owners, our cars seem to depreciate faster than other comparible
cars (oxymoron). This has been painfully brought home in my current
situation of trying to sell my 91' 200QT Sedan to upgrade to a newer
quattro. Blue book retail and actual market value place the value of my car
anywhere between 13.5 and 18.9. I'm selling for 15.5 and have yet to have
any significant bites (I actually think it is worth more, but with high
miles, lowered it to that). Comparably, I've checked out other prices for
used Audi's in the Bay area and have seen anything but inflated prices. Just
my .02 cents.
Anybody know anyone that wants a used 91' 200 Quattro Turbo 20V in excellent
condition (5spd)? Putting her in the Auto Trader this weekend.
