At the risk of starting another Thread From Hell, fact of the matter is,
there is little difference between different brands of so-called premium
gasoline. I too think BP sucks, but that may have more to do with the
color scheme of their stations than empirical evidence. I use Sunoco
94, or Amoco 93 when there isn't a Sunoco station on my route. No diff
in performance. More importantly, perhaps, is to buy from high-volume
stations, especially in very cold weather, and stay on top of engine
maintenance. Was unable to tell from your e-mail address, but depending
upon the area of the U.S. in which you live, you may be pumping
oxygenated gas from November thru February. There is debate on this
point, too, but that may be affecting performance.
