Finally some facts from Avi.

Wouldn't this be comparing apples and oranges.  A natural gas engine and 
diesel?  Hardly comparable to a gas car motor.  And these were probably 
generators or some other constant running engine so what about speed 
variability.

The reason that Audi and others don't say use synthetics is to keep the 
maintenance costs down.  If they require you use synths the maintenance costs 
go through the roof and the consumers rags jump all over them for high 
maintenance costs.  The reason I don't trust them is because they don't 
necessarily apply to everyone.
