Teflon Additives

I saw a post on the list referencing Tufoil. I'm not 100% sure, but
I believe this has a teflon additive.

For the record:

I have copies of US military automotive tests at home. In these
tests, it was determined that:

1) Teflon additives DO NOT BOND to engine parts at operating
temperatures. They remain in the oil as particulates.

2) Under cold conditions, the teflon particles can clump in the oil
pan and BLOCK THE OIL PUMP PICKUP, causing swift engine failure due
to lack of oil. This is a fact!

My recommendation: DO NOT use any teflon-containing substance or oil
in the engine. It will not bond to parts and can cause catastrophic
engine failure. Period.
