86 Coupe Front end

Mechanic went under the knife today for a hernia (yikes!), so please send Frank some positive
vibes, he's a righteous mechanic and a hell of a nice guy! In his absence, I think the list
will do very rather nicely!

CAR: 86 CGT, 82k, Never hit, straight frame,
Brand new recent LF bearing
All wheels balanced on a MB dealer's sooper-dooper balancing machine to 0/0
LR Ronal has slight runout--but has been balanced perfectly to 0/0

PROBLEM:

When I lay off the throttle, I get a light shudder--better described as a modulation (not severe
enough to call vibration) and slight wander. Does not occur ALL the time, but most.

Also, when out of gear and braking, the car tends to dart around a bit, especially on uneven
surfaces. Struts are new-ish, 15k on them. Springs original. All undercar bushings stock &
original (getting old--my next planned step is to do all subframe & suspension bushings).

My 1st thought is worn control arm bushings (all bushings really)--geometry of susp. changing
when load changes. I know it will be a good idea to put in all new bushings, but how about
strut bearings? I've even thought about warped rotors poss. creating a rhythmic drag.

I would love to hear the list's suggestions on the symptoms and any reflections on the install
of new bushings.

Thanks in advance
