Trade My Audi?

I recently purchased a 1990 80 Quattro. I got a pretty good deal on it -
$6,500. It had 97,000 miles on it (now has 100,700) and had all service on
it - including the timing belt, water pump, brakes and rotors, and front
caliper. The only thing that is wrong with it is the AC (not sure what is
wrong with it - maybe the condensor), the cruise does not work and lastly,
the engines stalls when I come to a complete stop (this happens only in the
morning when first driven). Aside from those quirks, I am very happy with
the car.

Anyway, I just saw a 1990 90 Quattro 20V. It has 137,000 miles and the
owner is asking $7,700 for it. It looks like it is in very good condition.
I have not drove it yet and I am checking to see if the service has been
done on it. The color is great - silver.

My question is - if I can get the guy to swap cars with me, should I do it.
This is assuming that the service has been done on it, the AC works and the
Cruise is working as well.

The PROS of the silver Audi is that AC, Cruise and Stalling is in better
condition than my Quattro and it is a 20V which is easier to upgrade than
the 80Q. Also, I love the color. The CONS are that it has 137,000 miles on
it, I am not sure who the original owner is, it may be a risk doing the
trade since my car runs so well (except for the morning stalling). I figure
that it is going to cost me $500 for the AC, $150 for the Cruise and $????
for the stalling on my current Audi.

If I can, is this a wise trade worth pursuing?

Thanks,

RayP
