     My mistake! It is a cleaner. . . but one does *add* it to the fuel,
hence I called it an additive. You are correct, though, it is not a
*fuel additive*. You do not neccessarily *have* to put in "just before
engine oil change." They do, however, recommend not using it, depending
upon the size of the container(8 oz. or 12 oz., I think), more than x
times without changing the oil.
        Chevron does add it to some of their fuels, I believe the higher
quality ones. I wouldn't know, there are no Chevron stations in MA. :(
And yes, you can buy it concentrated off the shelf. I have spent over
$200 on the stuff by buying it one $8 bottle at a time! I was wondering
however whether any lister had negative news about it. Reply to me
directly if you wish to avoid a thread.
