RE: Bent door...
Henrik:
My heart goes out to you...A awhile back my wife put my car[1990 SAAB 900 Turbo] into the garage after we had finished making it look pretty[wash/wax]. Unfortunately, she felt that she had pulled it in to far. So, she started the car and put it in reverse to back it up a smidgeon. Her wet shoe slipped of the break and onto the gas...with the door open. Car LURCHED out of the garage, driver's side door met with garage... and physics took over.
$3500 later I had a new door and front quarter panel. The good news is that I was standing behind the car in the driveway when this happened. At least she didn't run me over.
And for the ladies on the list...I didn't kill my wife. She is still alive to tel me how sorry she is.
Again, I know how you feel.

Subject: Bent door...
Yesterday I backed out of our garage. Not a big deal - do it
every day. Only this time I left my right back door open.
Started wondering why the garbage can moved, but before I
finished that thought, the door hit caught the side of the
garage... #$@%! :(
Anyone experienced the same? What can I expect it to end up
costing? WILL MY CAR EVER BE THE SAME!!! Sigh... I guest its
just one of those stupid things
