spring is here

The 84 4kq is almost perfect now, with a fresh alignment,
new upper strut bearings, control arm bushings, etc.
The electrical portion of the ignition switch is new,
so no more electrical gremlins, and my mechanic noticed
today that the vacuum advance on my dist was not working.
Here's another item you 4kq guys may want to check - easy,
suck on the vacuum line, if it does not hold, it's bad.
He also discovered that the clunk in my steering was not
sloppy work on his part, but on mine - I failed to fully tighten
the front control arms when I did them a few weeks ago :)
Almost $800 more into this #$%@ car, and it's still not
a urq (but it thinks it is). Pictures to come soon, and
thanks once again for the contributions to the engine fund.

Eric arranged for an exchange of my slagmaster pads (well deserved
name - they now suck, used to be good 4 years ago) from Imparts,
so I will be changing the pads. Pointers to a good pad (Pagid?)
and discount sources are appreciated.

Lastly, in line with the subject line, I took off the studded Hakkas
today, realizing that it is NEVER going to snow in NY in the next
month, and put on the MSW rims with D60A2s. Now, to find some
twisties...
