To remove the stock radio, you must use two "U" shaped tools that fit into the 4 small 
1/8" holes at the corners of the radio.  There is a factory tool, but don't 
bother--take a coat hanger, and snip off two 3-4" inch pieces.  With a pair of pliers, 
bend to make a "U".  Take a look at the unit face, you'll see what I mean.   

I would smooth the sharp ends to avoid any potential damage, insert until you feel the 
little clips give way, and voila, you should be able to remove the unit with a minimum 
of fenageling (sp?).
