I would assume that this is the same as my '85 4000S that I used to have.
The front speakers I don't remember 100%, but the grill and speaker are one
piece. Unfortunately, when I checked into getting new speakers, there are
no aftermarket pieces. What I ended up doing was cutting the speaker out
of the grill and then using 3 1/2" speakers. I placed those in the hole,
and put the old speaker grill over it. It looked pretty good and worked
well too.

The rear speakers, if they are the same 4" ones mine had, you need to first
remove the grill from the back deck I think. This is basically an
"unscrewing" to get those off.

Lastly, as for the deck, I believe that there are two small holes on each
side of the radio. There is a special tool, but I just took a regular wire
hangers and cut the ends off of it, so that you have two V-shaped pieces of
wire. Place these in the two sets of holes, and then you can pull the deck
out. The easiest way is to grab the deck by placing your fingers inside
the tape portion and pulling.

Hope this helps. I had mine sounding pretty good until I traded it in on
my '88 90 Quattro. Shoulda bought a quattro in the first place!
