This is due to the fact that as the top gear gets taller, the car engine
can not pull hard enough to get the car going any faster. That is why
alot of 400hp cars wit hextra tall 6th gears cant get their top speed in
sixth gear. The tall gearing and the wind resistance is just too much,
even though thegear would theoretically allow a couple hundred mph.
