Re: Reliable British cars

Disagree. Had 2 1962 122S' and for its time it was a hell of a car.
Built like a tank. Used one of them in Quebec and reliably took me
everywhere I wanted to go, even in the middle of winter, with snow and
ice up the wazoo!

The other one I had modified by Tony Rudd in England - even put wire
wheels on it. Lowered suspension, tweaked engine (the B18) and it went
like hell.....all over Argentina, from 18,000 ft gravel road passes
across to Chile to mud tracks in the middle of the Pampas and what were
laughingly called asphalt roads.

Problem was the design got a little dated, but, at the time I thought
they were terrific.

Take care,

Graham
