My dealer (Carlsen in Palo Alto, CA) "fixed" the B pillar rattle on my
A4q when I went in for the 6mo/7500mi service.
The reason why I say "fixed" is because they took the B pillars apart
and claimed that they cannot find any source of noise. Then they put it
back together and found no noise during a test drive. Yet, after that,
all rattling noise was indeed completely banished. I suspect that by
taking it apart and reassembling, they must have "fixed" the rattle
as a side effect... Hmm.
Well, I am not complaining. It's fixed as far as I'm concerned.
