Audi: world class...screwdriver?
I know I don't post very many messages, but when I do, it is usually for
something a bit odd. This next request is no exception. Some time ago
while at work doing some routine maintenance, I was in need of a
screwdriver and none was to be found. I remember one residing in the
trunk of my Coupe q and went out to retrieve it. Noticing that it was
dually equipped with both a standard head and a phillips head, it
finished the job in no time. I have fallen in love with this well-made
German-engeneered tool and have kept it in my toolbelt ever since.
Now for the rest of the story: I want to get ahold of a few more of
these things. Most salvage yards say,"No, we don't hav'm." and the
dealer is all too willing to special order them at $5.00 per. What to
do? Anyone know of a good source for used discarded Audi screwdrivers?
Apparently they are manufactured by Felo in W. Germany. Very sharp
looking. Excellent quality. Complete w/ four rings stamped on the
handle. Very Audi.
Thanks for wading through the trivia
