What is the difference between the JT and KX engines??
The KX engine in my '85 Coupe GT is the NA 2226cc 10v I5 w/CIS-E fuel
injection, 81mm bore/86.4mm stroke, 8.5:1 compression, hydraulic lifters,
vacuum pump, etc., etc.
I always thought the KX engine was the one used in the 4Kq, the only
engine differences between the two cars being the exhaust manifold and
3-wire (4Kq) vs. 1-wire (Coupe) oxygen sensor. Am I wrong?
