Re: Reply: Oetinger 4000Q
In a note dated 3/6/97 you write:
<<If this is a true Oetinger complete package, it is an awesome car. Even if
it just has the Oetinger worked engine, it is a serious vehicle. If the
owner is like a second owner or something and doesn't know or appreciate what
it is, maybe you could steal it off of her relatively cheap. This is really
something special!!>>
I also know of the car of which Anton posted about. I see it all the time and
know where it lives (unless it changed hands in the last year...if so, where
was I???!!!). I sounds just awesome. I have seen it many times over the years
driving and have looked close at it parked on several occasions-it is very
real, Alpine White, and beautiful! Only thing is, it is an '84...but the way
it is set up-who cares! No, the owners know exactly what they have, it is not
their first quattro from what I'm told. I'll try to get a photo and if so,
scan it and send to someone for posting (EuroCarFinder? Bob D?)...perhaps the
owner may even be a list lurker??? Now that I know what it may really be...I
am more curious too.
