I read that Valentine when Bankrupt..(in the NY Times i think)..
Radar detector sales are way down.... I hate to start this again, but I
know why, a radar detector just does not cut the mustard these days..
I always hook up my CB for trips over 100 miles when I will be really
tempted to speed... It is eazy with the ski boot, I just attach the
antenna with set screws to the edge of my trunk lid and run the wire
into the car throught the ski boot... have been doing it for 10 years,
works great.. the antena with set screws comes from Radio Shack...don't
be tempted to buy the magnetic antena...it will scratch paint and come
off a 70 MPH.... I have test results on both of those faults (:
