Brian's 200TQ evidently has had an easier time with the tree and the
accident than with the body shop.

One quick question: Why have you not ALREADY gone postal?

Sounds to me like you should be talking to a lawyer without further delay -
someone owes you for six months rental cars and probably the value of your
200TQ (whatever that value was just before the accident) because it sounds
like the body shop has destroyed whatever was left.

Any questions about why many of us prefer to do our own work?

Time to take the gloves off!
