So, channel 23 is the best to monitor up there? I usually leave it on
channel 19 no matter what... I seem to get the best results from that...
both truckers and "four-wheelers" tend to "hang" out there....
Could it be that you might have had better luck if you were on channel 19?
Just curious...
BTW, how did he know that you have a CB... do you have a big whip antenna?
Or something more stealth, and he just happened to see the CB when he looked
in the car? I wonder, because I have a cell-phone look-alike CB antenna off
the trunk... it doesn't look like a CB antenna (although I'm sure that most
troopers probably could figure it out i.e. I have two cell-phone antennae on
my car??), and my CB is sorta' hidden down by my right leg. You can see the
microphone if you look in the car... but I suppose I could just put it under
the seat if "da man" comes to my window... maybe he won't put "two and two
together"!!
