*OR* when having any service done that requires removal of a wheel. Had the
monkey-lads at Sears (a few years back) destroy a hub! I have no idea what this
moron was smoking, but he managed to completely strip the hub on one of the
bolts. That's right, not the bolt.. the hub.
Before I get bashed for taking the Q to Sears, understand that this was my
father's doing. It was his car at the time.
The real pisser is that Sears told them about the damage and requested that my
father come in and speak with the service manager about correcting the
situation. Guess what? He *didn't* because he was "too busy." I discovered this
a while back, saw that the car was (and is) riding on 4 out of 5 on the left
front side, and dug through all sorts of old receipts trying to document it.
NO GO. The monkey lad didn't document the damage. Thanks again Sears. :(
