I have never figured out why Audi warns about 130 mph (or actually limits
the car to 130 mph) then fits V-rated tires to the cars. The '91 200q
owners manual says the tires are V-rated and should not be used over 130 mph.
BTW, the '91 200q does NOT have a limiter, but the '92 100s does; don't
know if the '91 100 had a limiter. I'm guessing that the older 10v NA I5
(110-130 hp) engines could NOT redline in 5th whereas the V6 (172 hp) cars
can.
