Re: 85 4KSQ FUEL PUMP

Hmmmm...."drivers side, rear passenger seat"....ooohh...I get it - the
rear bench is one whole passenger seat. But still, is the the fuel pump
really on the drivers side of 4Ks or is this owner "across the pond?"
Curious Al strikes again.....

I do not know the technical description/name of the replacement line
neccessary but I have had similar experiences. Twice I needed the line
fixed, once up front to stop fuel from spraying onto the exhaust
manifold(big prob.) and once near where you need it to be replaced.
First two repairs on line up front did not hold for long on my car
either. From those experiences with my '86 CGT I do know that you WILL
NEED heavy duty(technical term: "high pressure") line, but you know that
too. Sorry! I thought I could help....but I can't....Hope you find what
you need for cheap, cheap, cheap $! Good Luck!
