I've been told that 20v wagons are very rare. I've seen a few debates
on the list about which 200 is the better car to buy, the 10v or 20v.
The consensus, it seemed to me, was that a low mileage 10v was a better option
because the much lower cost would enable a new owner to invest in some
performance modifications.
At stock, the 20v offers higher performance than the 10v. I don't have the
stats anymore, but when I read the 20v literature (back when it came out) I
recalled a large increase in bhp and correspondingly performance parameters.

This car looked exceptional inside. The only obvious blemishes on the outside
were the darker spots underneath where the ski-rack sat. I'm not sure if they
are going to blend these out or not. The car hadn't been prepped in any way
when I saw it and was quite grimy, so it may have been hiding other body
imperfections.
The only downside to the interior was that it didn't have the sport seats.
I looked up the dealer's phone number. It is (518) 374-9161. Give them a call
and see what information you can dig up and if you can get them to agree on a
reasonable price. I'm not sure what the market commands for this vehicle.
Perhaps the list can help here?
: 1991 200 (20v) Quattro, 61 K miles (or was it
65 K miles...). They are asking $14,900. Sound reasonable?
They supposedly sold it when new, and maintained everything up until now.
The guy told me that the owner was wealthy and had *everything* done.
SO, they should have detailed maintanence records. When I asked for them,
the guy gave me a bit of a run around. I don't think he was taking my
inquiry seriously (although I showed up in a 200q).
If you progress in your decision toward the car, I would be happy to check it
out further. I know a respectable shop in town that could perform a
pre-purchase inspection for you as well.
Let me know what I can do. Give them a call first and see what you can dig up,
then I'd be glad to follow up. Let me know.

P.S. I have no affiliation with this (or any other) dealer. I'd just rather
see the 20v go to a Q-lister. Usual disclaimers.
