Shouldn't we be concerned with the greater amount of energy required
to accelerate a more massive (weight) object, rather than wheel bearing
resistance ( a factor but reasonably small surely)?
Given two vehicles with identical weight and power then aero drag is
the largest factor.
Where two vehicles with identical power is concerned then it's a weight
vs areo drag consideration. Is car 1 slippery enough to overcome a
weight penalty against car 2, is a likely question.
