Seeing red one last time(I hope!)

I have owned, driven, and repaired my Comm. Design Coupe GT for close
to 6 years since buying it used from my local dealership in 1991 and
"can say with all my heart" that it is a special car that I have learned
to love as such. With regards to interior colors, however, I myself
would never buy a new car with anything but a black interior since it is
in my mind the only color that leather belongs in, with very few, very
special, exceptions. One of which is our Audi! I feel very strongly
about retaining character and identity when dealing with automobiles and
their modifications, and although I would love an Audi with a black
leather(must be leather) interior, and there's no question that black
would be perfect in the Comm. Design, doing so however would slightly
damage its character and destroy its identity! I have seen the picture
in European Car of your Comm. Design and I respect its/your ability,
craftsmanship, and looks(don't know about your looks ;-) however), but I
do not feel it continues to represent the Comm. Design Series. Please
understand it's nothing personal and no disrespect is meant. The Red
leather seats are in my not-so-humble(in this instance) opinion
THE_SINGLE_MOST_IMPORTANT_FEATURE defining the Comm. Design Coupe, and
to replace them with black versions is to literally rip away its
purpose, its originality, and its rarity!

p.s. To all, Audi refers to the special editions(5KCS, 4KCS, 4KCSQ, and
CGT) as "The Commemorative Design Series" and therefore I own a Comm.
*Design* Coupe GT, not a Comm. Ed. CGT. At least I learned something
through all of this bickering. ;)
p.s. To "M", Nothing personal - I like your '86 Coupe GT, but I like my
'86 Commemorative Design Coupe GT more. I do wish I had your I-5 and its
mods however! Also, I realize that your CGT is even more original and
rare now than before, but modifying a Taurus can produce the same
result.
