Old Diehards were made by Johnson Controls...
They make Interstate.
Replaced my Toyota Supra Turbo battery with an Interstate (here in the 
Midwest where it is effing cold and effing hot.).
Good mate of mine runs a body shop and he swears by Interstate (he
sold me the battery). After three years its still strong with no problems. 

P.S. I dont use the car a lot in the winter because of the snow and my 
Bridgestone SO2's take a hell of a time to warm up (I have 350hp on
the rear wheels!!!). Starts every time even 30 below!

Like engine oil and waxes,  batteries are a bit subjective : - )
