Dan-

It's not on the schedule I got from Summit Point (which shows marque club
events, schools, etc). That doesn't mean it ain't gonna happen though.

They (Summit Point) have a web site at http://www.bsr-inc.com/summit/ where
you can check out the track maps and get phone numbers to call etc.

Summit Point Raceway is a neat facility. They actually have two tracks
these days - the original "main" course is 2 miles, 10 turns, and everybody
loves it because it's just a neat course. What a course-map doesn't really
show you is the elevation changes. This ain't no Laguna Seca, but it's got
some elevation changes here and there. I personally love turns 4-8, where
5-7 make up the "Carousel".

Then they added the Jefferson Circuit about 2-3 years ago. It's a 1.1 mile,
7-turn smaller, tighter course. It was designed especially for instruction
(as opposed to the main course, which was designed for racing).

I've never been on the Jefferson Circuit, but I've sure enough wore out my
cheek muscles grinning around the main circuit over and over again. :-)

You don't have to join QCUSA just for that though (if you don't want to).
You can also play at Summit Point with the BMW club or some other clubs that
do day-long and weekend-long events. There is also FATT (Friday at the
Track) which is Friday high-performance driving instruction and, once you're
open rated (signed off to run the course without supervision), you can do
Seat Time - a more open format that basically allows you to hot lap until
you're exhausted.

Have fun!
