Dunlop 8000 or D40 M2?

I'm trying to decide on replacement tires to go on my original 15" (size 6J)
Alloy wheels.

I use winter Radials (Canadian Tire Turbo Lazer- agressive tread S rated) so
don't need all season radials.

Based on this list I've thought of buying Dunlop SP8000, but the nearest size
to stock (205-60VR is 205-55VR) Would this be to small a tire or would it not
make a significant difference? (Though it would mean the speedo would read 2.4
mph high at 70 mph so I'd have to drive slower for the "car pool").

I note that the D40 M2's come in the stock 205-60VR size and the slightly
larger 215-60VR that I had been previously using (Goodyear GA's only good for
40,000 km - 25,000 miles)

If there are those on the list who have used both, could you give me your
comparitive impressions on wet and dry handling and tread life.

The prices from Tire Rack are significantly less for the D40M2's but if tread
life is proportional with performance as a bonus I'd like to try the 8000's.

Also since I'm in Canada, has anyone had experience importing from tire rack?
Shipping costs to Canada? duty? Experience in returning defective tires or for
road hazard warrantee from Canada? Is there a discount tire outlet in Canada?
PS I just zipped up to see 185 on the speedo for the 185,000 miles on the car
(of course that's only 185 Kmh)

TIA
