RE: Removing lower B-pillar interior cover

You have to remove the long plastic piece along the
sill first.  Remove this by removing the piece on the
top middle by prying it off.  This will expose the screws
holding the sill cover in place.  Once the sill piece
is removed, the screws attaching the lower B pillar plastic
can be removed.  No serious force is required to do this.
Be careful, as these parts will break if too much force
is used.

I don't know why Audi didn't use a better material for
these parts.  It would have made a big difference.
